As a member of Huntington Beach’s only community garden, you can be part of what is truly a grassroots organization.  With support from members like you, the HBCG will continue to develop a self-sustaining and stable community garden that provides fresh food for families and local food banks, serves as a community gathering point and educates our neighbors about organic gardening and land stewardship.

Membership in the HBCG does not guarantee that you will be able to rent a garden plot, however members will receive first notification of plot availability. Plot availability is first-come, first-served and depends solely on the number of plots available at the time of your request.  We encourage the community to become members to help support and ensure community gardening continues to flourish even if you are unable to tend a plot.  Please consider making special gifts/donations to the garden to continually show your support of organic community gardening.

Donations can be made online by clicking the ‘Donate’ button or you can send a check directly to HBCG, P.O. Box 5891, Huntington Beach, 92615-5891.

Members receive garden newsletters, special updates and invitations to special events benefiting the HBCG. Get involved with your community and join the HBCG today!

To get on the wait list for a plot, submit a membership application form with your $20 annual membership fee.  You will be notified when plots are available.
